Remote Access to Voicemail

If you need to retrieve voicemail from your cell phone, when you do not have access to your phone. Begin by calling your mobile number from another phone. When you hear your voicemail greeting, press the # key. This will interrupt the greeting and prompt you for your voicemail password. It is important that you know the voicemail password as you will need your cell phone to reset it.

If you need to reset your voicemail password call the number listed below from you cell phone: When you are prompted to describe your issue, say “reset voicemail password.” A new pin will be sent to you phone via text.

  • ATT – Dial (800) 331-0500 from your mobile phone. When you are prompted to describe your issue, say “reset voicemail password.” Enter the requested security verification information and continue to follow prompts for resetting the password.
  • Verizon – Dial *611 from your mobile phone. When you are prompted to describe your issue, say “reset voicemail password.” Enter the requested security verification information and continue to follow prompts for resetting the password.

Your new password should not have repeating digits (e.g., 1111) or consecutive digits (e.g., 1234).
